A visual concept and brand design was developed for the launch of AIRBUS' new 'AirSense' service. Based on the murmuration phenomenon, a design approach was taken to visualize the coordinating functions and multi-source approach of 'AirSense' in an abstract but aesthetically pleasing way. The concept was implemented using thousands of animated 3D birds for product videos, website as well as trade show displays, printed materials and promotional items. 'AirSense' is a new analytics solution based on global ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) data and enabled by multi-source surveillance data. 'AirSense' uses various aircraft position data and provides reliable insights to the aviation industry.
